

The BCOS picnic will be held Saturday,
April 14, 2012 at Satellite Beach's Pelican Beach Park located on A1A. You can
arrive at 11:00am and stay the day (7:00pm). Directions to the park are listed
below and will be available in the February, March and April newsletters.
There will be all kinds of food and fun. The picnic is for members and
their family. The society rents the pavilion, supplies pulled pork, hamburgers,
hot dogs, brats, rolls, condiments, soda, water and related supplies. You will
able to bring beer & wine, just no glass bottles. Also no hard liquor is
allowed in the park. The grill will be fired up at 12:00pm with the cooking of
hot food starting at 12:30pm. All you have to do is bring a hot side dish,
salad or dessert. There will be a sign up at the February, March and April
general meetings, so we know how many will be attending and to indicate what
hot side dish, salad or dessert you will be bringing. Please don't forget to
bring serving utensils and no glass of any kind. We will be having an orchid
raffle, each member gets one ticket for each dish they bring, and additional
tickets can be purchased. We will also be playing bingo for prizes, bingo cards
can be purchased at the picnic.
Only service animals are allowed in the
park, no pets please.

Our 2012 BCOS Picnic will be held at the
Pelican Beach Park on A1A in Satellite Beach. The Park is located between the
Pineda and Eau Gallie Causeways. The pavilion we have is the Pelican, the park
has a large play ground, 2 sand volley ball courts, facilities and handicap ram
to beach.
If you are coming over the Eau Gallie Causeway proceed to
A1A. Turn left at the light on to A1A, proceed 2 miles (3 traffic lights). The
park will be on your right just past the Desoto Parkway traffic light. (CVS on
left corner).
If you are coming over the Melbourne Causeway proceed to
A1A. Turn left at the light on to A1A, proceed 5.3 miles (7 traffic lights).
The park will be on your right just past the Desoto Parkway traffic light. (CVS
on left corner).
If you are coming over the Pineda Causeway proceed to
A1A. Turn right at the light on to A1A, proceed 3 miles (6 traffic lights). The
park will be on your left just past the Cassia Blvd. traffic light.

Remember: You can being Beer
or Wine but no hard liquor, No Glass of any kind (bowls, bottles. jars, etc).
Only service animals are allowed in the park, no pets please. Remember to bring
your sunscreen, favorite beach toys, serving utensils for your sides or
deserts.
